GEORGE HARRISON All Things Must Pass - 1970 Box Set w/Clean Vinyl

Very clean condition throughout including vinyl (all six sides), textured insert sleeves and the container box. Apple label release  STCH 639.  Wah-Wah can be blasted to your heart's content to truly experience Spector's Wall of Sound. Includes the three differently colored textured stock inserts (all w/no seam splits). Container box is clean w/minimum shelf wear and clean corners/edges. The quiet Beatle definitely spoke loudly here w/a masterpiece that speaks volumes on his pent-up collection of songs, including the title track rejected when initially submitted for recording by the Fab Four.  The critics were unanimous w/their acclaim (see below). Overall great condition box set for vinyl, sleeves and container box. No poster included.

All Things Must Pass was critically acclaimed on release and, with long stays at number 1 on charts around the world, commercially successful. The album was co-produced by Phil Spector and employs his Wall of Sound production technique to notable effect; Ben Gerson of RS Magazine described the sound as  Wagnerian, Brucknerian, the music of mountain tops and vast horizons". Reflecting the widespread surprise at the assuredness of Harrison's post-Beatles debut, Melody Maker music critic Richard Williams likened the album to Greta Garbo's first role in a taking picture and declared: "Garbo talks! – Harrison is free!.

It has been cited as the best of all former Beatles' solo albums. It has been ranked 79th on the 100 Best Albums of All Time and ranked 433 by Rolling Stone Magazine of 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.  In 2014 it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
