The back story is the original Apple acetate - recorded prior to their MCA recording contract - resurfaced at a Christie's auction. It was released on CD as "First Light" and included the original versions of five classic tracks from their debut LP (re-recorded when signed by MCA) and well as two previously unissued songs along with an early vocal version of 'Alone'. This LP edition includes two additional rare tracks.
